How Passenger Refunds Work on WakandaRides
Learn how your refund is calculated when a booking is cancelled.
The amount you receive back depends on who cancels the ride and how much time remains before departure.
If you cancel more than 24 hours before departure
You receive:
100% of the seat price back
WakandaRides credits returned when applicable
The booking fee is non-refundable.
If you cancel less than 24 hours before departure
You receive:
50% of the seat price back
The remaining 50% of the seat price goes to the driver.
The booking fee is non-refundable.
If the driver cancels
If the driver cancels your ride, you receive a full refund, including:
100% of the seat price
Booking fee
Eligible WakandaRides credits used for the booking
After the departure time
Bookings cannot be cancelled through the normal cancellation process once the scheduled departure time has passed.
Where to check your refund
Go to Payment Methods and open your payment history to view your payment and refund activity.
Good to know
Refunds processed by WakandaRides may take additional time to appear on your original payment method depending on your payment provider.
