How to Start Your Ride on WakandaRides
Learn how to start your ride when it is time to depart.
When it is time for your trip, start the ride in WakandaRides so passengers can follow the active trip and receive the correct ride updates.
1. Open your ride
Go to My Rides and select the ride scheduled to depart.
2. Open the active ride
When the ride is ready to begin, open the ride details and access the available trip controls.
3. Start the ride
Use the Start Ride option when you are ready to leave.
Only start the ride when you are actually beginning the trip.
4. Open Live Trip
After the ride starts, use Live Trip to follow the active journey and access the available trip information.
5. Stay connected with passengers
If needed, use WakandaRides messaging or the available in-app calling option to communicate with booked passengers.
Good to know
Starting your ride activates the trip flow used for Live Trip, attendance, arrival confirmation, and driver payout processing. Make sure you start the correct ride at the correct departure time.
