What Happens When You Cancel a Ride on WakandaRides

Cancelling a posted ride affects everyone who has booked it, so driver cancellations should only be used when an emergency prevents you from travelling.

Your ride is cancelled

Once you confirm the cancellation, the ride is no longer available for passengers to book or travel on.

Booked passengers are notified

Passengers with confirmed bookings are notified that the ride has been cancelled.

This gives them an opportunity to look for another ride as soon as possible.

Passengers receive a full refund

Affected passengers receive a full refund, including:

• 100% of the seat price

• Booking fee

• Eligible WakandaRides credits used for the reservation

You do not receive the seat payment

Because the ride will not take place, the driver does not receive payment for the cancelled trip.

If your ride already has a passenger

Once at least one passenger has a confirmed booking, the ride cannot be edited.

This protects passengers from unexpected changes to a trip they have already booked.

If an emergency means you genuinely cannot complete the trip, use the appropriate cancellation process instead.
