How No-Shows and Attendance Disputes Work on WakandaRides

Learn how WakandaRides handles passenger and driver no-shows and attendance disagreements.

WakandaRides uses attendance confirmation to help protect both passengers and drivers when there is a disagreement about who attended a ride.

1. The driver confirms passenger attendance

At the end of the trip, the driver confirms whether each booked passenger was:

  • Present

  • Absent

Attendance should always reflect what actually happened during the ride.

2. If a passenger is marked absent

A passenger reported as absent gets an opportunity to respond.

The passenger can indicate:

I did not attend
Choose this when the passenger agrees that they missed the ride.

I was there
Choose this when the passenger attended but believes they were incorrectly marked absent.

3. Selecting “I was there” creates a dispute

If the passenger selects I was there, an attendance dispute is submitted.

The affected driver payout is placed on hold while the case is reviewed.

The ride will show that the dispute is Under Review.

4. WakandaRides reviews the dispute

WakandaRides reviews the available ride information before resolving the case.

Possible outcomes can include:

  • Passenger refunded

  • Driver payout released

  • Split resolution

  • Dispute rejected

Once resolved, the ride is updated with the final outcome.

5. If the driver does not show up

Passengers can also report when a driver does not attend the scheduled ride.

When the reporting option is available, use it from the affected ride.

You can also report the issue through:

Help & Support → Submit a Ticket → Driver did not show up

Then use Link Booking to select the affected booking and describe what happened.

When multiple passengers are booked on the same ride, their reports can help WakandaRides determine whether the driver attended.

6. What happens to the payout during a dispute?

An affected payout remains on hold while an attendance dispute is being reviewed.

Funds are released or refunded according to the final decision.

Good to know

No-show reports can directly affect passenger refunds and driver earnings. Always report attendance accurately.

If you were present but incorrectly marked absent, use I was there to dispute the report rather than confirming information that is not correct.

Drivers should also confirm passenger attendance carefully before submitting the final attendance record.
