How to Post a Ride Request on WakandaRides

If you can’t find a ride that matches your travel plans, you can post a ride request so WakandaRides can help you find matching trips.

1. Open the Ride Request screen

There are two ways to post a ride request.

Option 1 — After searching for a ride

Enter your From and To locations and search for a ride.

If no matching ride is available, tap Post a Request.

WakandaRides will automatically prefill your departure and destination from your search. Review the information, add any remaining trip details, and continue.

Option 2 — From Carpool Rides / Requests

Go to Carpool Rides / Requests in the app.

Tap Post a Request and enter the trip you are looking for.

2. Review your trip details

Check your:

• Departure

• Destination

• Travel date

• Other requested trip details

Make sure everything is correct before publishing.

3. Post your request

Tap Post Request to publish it.

Your request will remain available for matching with rides posted by drivers.

4. Get notified about matching rides

When a driver posts a ride that matches your requested route, WakandaRides can send you a notification.

Open the notification to review the ride before deciding whether to book.

5. Receive invitations from drivers

Drivers can also see ride requests that match their route and may invite you directly to their ride.

You can review the invitation and decide whether the trip works for you.

Good to know

Posting a ride request does not reserve a seat. A matching notification or driver invitation only helps you discover a ride. You still need to complete the normal booking process to secure your seat.
