How Matching Rides Work for Your Ride Request

After you post a ride request, WakandaRides helps you see rides that match your requested route and notifies you when new matching rides become available.

1. Open your ride request

Go to Carpool Rides and open the Requests section.

Select the ride request you posted.

2. Check for matching rides

If rides are already available that match your departure and destination, they will appear directly under your ride request.

You can open a matching ride to review its details.

If no matching ride is currently available, you will see:

0 found

Your ride request can remain active while you wait for a driver to post a matching trip.

3. Get notified when a matching ride is posted

If a driver later posts a ride travelling in the same direction as your request, WakandaRides will notify you.

You can receive:

• A push notification

• An email notification

The driver is also notified that their newly posted ride matches an existing passenger ride request.

4. Open the matching ride directly

The notification includes a direct link to the matching ride.

Tap the notification to open the ride in WakandaRides, where you can review the trip details.

5. Chat or book the ride

From the matching ride, you can take the available next action, including:

• Reviewing the driver and ride details

• Chatting when available

• Booking the ride

Completing a ride request does not automatically reserve a seat. You still need to complete the normal booking process to confirm your place.

Good to know

If your ride request currently shows 0 found, you do not need to keep searching manually. WakandaRides can notify you by push and email when a driver posts a matching route, with a direct link to the ride.
