⚠️ WakandaRides includes built-in communication protections designed to help passengers and drivers stay connected without unnecessarily sharing personal information.

Keep your phone number private

You do not need to share your personal phone number with your driver to communicate about a ride.

WakandaRides blocks messages that attempt to share phone numbers or other contact information.

If detected, the message will not be sent and you will see a safety notice.

To help protect users from suspicious websites, phishing attempts, and conversations being moved outside WakandaRides, the chat also blocks:

  • Website links

  • URLs

  • Email addresses

When this information is detected, the message will not be sent.

Unsafe or inappropriate language may be blocked

WakandaRides can also prevent messages containing language that is not permitted on the platform.

If a message is detected as inappropriate or unsafe, you will be asked to change it before sending.

Use WakandaRides chat for your trip

Keep important ride conversations inside WakandaRides whenever possible.

You can use the chat to discuss:

  • Pickup location

  • Meeting instructions

  • Departure time

  • Luggage

  • Stops

  • Other important ride details

Before booking, you can send a driver up to 5 messages to ask questions about the ride.

Once your booking is confirmed, there is no message limit for that ride conversation.

Call without sharing your phone number

When the calling option is available, use the Call button in WakandaRides to speak with your driver without needing to exchange personal phone numbers.

This can be useful when you need to quickly coordinate your pickup or meeting location.

WakandaRides is designed to keep ride communication on the platform. Phone numbers, contact information, email addresses, website links, and prohibited language may be blocked before a message is sent.
