How should I price my ride?

WakandaRides is designed to help drivers share the cost of a trip they are already planning to make.

WakandaRides currently uses:

• Recommended rate: approximately $0.10/km per seat

• Maximum rate: $0.20/km per seat

For example, for a 200 km trip:

Recommended: 200 km × $0.10 = $20 per seat

Maximum: 200 km × $0.20 = $40 per seat

Cost-sharing is important because provincial rules can distinguish genuine carpooling from commercial transportation based on whether passengers are sharing trip expenses or the driver is receiving remuneration.
